Some of the forum topics I’ve started are:

  • Wood Swap - trade wood with other ShowYourWood members
  • Sell your Stuff - Do you have old tools you’d like to sell…maybe a lathe, some chisels or a bandsaw. Post them here.
  • Introduce Yourself - Tell us who you are and what you do!
  • Woodworking Events - Do you know of any woodworking events, like craft shows, woodworking classes or symposiums. Post them here.

To post on the forum, all you need is your login userid and password.  If you have a blog with ShowYourWood, use the same login as you use for your blog.  If you’re new here, start a blog and login to the forum, or just sign up as a user.

The new blogs are looking great, with lots of interesting content and pictures. Keep up the great work and remember…keep on posting. The more we share with our fellow woodworkers, the more we can learn.

If anyone needs some help setting up their blog, please contact me (Christina) directly though our Contact Us page and I’ll be happy to help. Once you learn a few basics about blogging, it becomes as easy as riding a bike.

If anyone would like a custom header graphic created for their blog, let us know. I can put one together for you for a small fee ($5.00 to help support the admin costs on the site). Just let me know what you’d like.

We’ll be starting a forum on the site over the next few days, so be sure and check it out. It’ll be a great place to ask woodworking questions and also a place to get support for your blog. It will be up on the site by Friday May 22nd. We hope to see you there.
